Striking exterior accents--including an unusual cantilevered penthouse balcony inspired by the Manhattan Bridge, weather industrial metalwork, exposed concrete, warm black window frames, and cobblestone pavement at the building's entrance--are reminiscent of period architecture. Inside, the design draws on the post-industrial aesthetic of the Historic District. Floors are inlaid with decorative and steel plates inspired by the imbedded steel rails, curbs and covers found in the surrounding streets and sidewalks. The result is an iconic residence of 65 stylish, loft-like homes.
